About Bay of Plenty

The Bay of Plenty is a major holiday destination featuring beautiful harbours and perfect white sand beaches

The Bay of Plenty is increasingly a lifestyle option for people who enjoy a mild climate and sandy beaches all year round.

There's Tauranga (population 58,000), which is just big enough to satisfy your 'big city needs'; Rotorua, a town brimming with Maori culture and bubbling mud pools; and Mt Maunganui ('The Mount'), New Zealand's favourite beach resort.

Most people, if nothing else, recognise the Bay of Plenty as kiwifruit country. But the warm climate and fertile soils are ideal for growing most other produce too.

Maybe you can see yourself amongst Tauranga's burgeoning café culture, or growing avocados on a couple of acres of land in Katikati?
